Position Description

Short/medium term objective will be to take care of the Parts Commercial Operation Flowserve Al Rushaid, while will be trained to take the full Com. Ops. responsibility on Saudi market.

Position Requirements

  1. BSME degree or equivalent, relevant industry experience preferred.

  2. Co-op or Intern experience as a Quoting Resource with an industrial equipment manufacturer is a plus.

  3. Experience in a working style which is team oriented and values communication, participation and involvement of others.

  4. Excellent organizational skills.

  5. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

  6. Attention to detail and process oriented mindset with mechanical aptitude.

  7. Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of pump applications and types, a clear understanding of pumps and systems.

  8. Develop a clear understanding of life cycle cost principles and the ability to create value added proposals that differentiate Flowserve product offerings against traditional first cost approach.

  9. Have a high standard of written and spoken English (Arabic language is a great plus) as well as strong PC skills and experience with Microsoft Office tools.

  10. Some travel may be required.

Preferences

  1. Establish and maintain close working relationships with Sales, Operations, and other functional stakeholders to promote the best interests of the company.

  2. Timely preparation of high quality and proposals within limitations dictated by the customer or manager using designated workload management tools and processes.

  3. Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of pump applications and types, a clear understanding of pump affinity laws and how these relate to pumps and systems.

  4. Review all customer inquiry related documents while addressing all relevant technical and commercial requirements.

  5. Manage and monitor the proposal throughout the entire bid cycle including updating and maintaining designated workload management tool, while monitoring hit-rate is optimized.

  6. Lead all coordination efforts on applicable aftermarket quotes while ensuring close collaboration and communication with all applicable stakeholders

  7. Coordinate and manage sub-supplier requests, replacement parts and components, labor estimates and quotations related to aftermarket requests.

  8. Utilize designated tools and processes.
