Position Description

• Manage and execute customer orders efficiently and timely from receipt to shipment. Support pre-award and post-shipment activities as necessary.

• Act as primary point of contact responsible to customers for order execution. Manage communication with customers in a timely, professional and clear manner.

• Ensure order specifications are thoroughly reviewed, including contractual requirements, scope of supply, and delivery expectations. Ensure discrepancies between sales, the customer and order are resolved and mitigate impact throughout the order.

• Work with other disciplines to ensure a successful project execution. Lead internal project status reviews. Create and update project plans and progress reports. Coordinate with other departments and vendors to ensure that schedule requirements are met.

• Communicate effectively with sales, application engineering, planning, purchasing, and operations to ensure product ships as ordered and on-time.

• Identify potential obstacles, risks and resource constraints. Prepare recovery and contingency plans to meet budget and schedule targets.

• Manage changes to project scope, project schedule, and project costs.

• Host and manage customers, inspectors and expeditors.

• Manage documentation submittals to the customer. Monitor documentation status and expedite responsible parties.

Position Requirements

• B.S. / B.A. degree required. B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.

• 3+ years of Project Management experience required.

• 3+ years of experience in an industrial engineered product environment - rotating equipment experience preferred.

• Ability to manage multiple projects (orders) simultaneously.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, writing and organizational skills; technical aptitude, and attention to detail.

• Ability to operate within and meet tight deadlines as required.

• Ability to work independently, take initiative and show a high sense of urgency. And ability to work in team oriented environment.

• Embrace Continuous Improvement.

• PC Proficient (Microsoft Office; MS Project preferred).

• PMP Certification preferred.

• Although minimal, ability to travel domestic and international.
