Position Description

o Remain current and proactive on new and updated accounting standards affecting the company, including evaluation / analysis of impacts

o Track and communicate status of upcoming FASB projects and exposure drafts

o Participate in the comment letter process on FASB exposure drafts that impact the company’s operations

o Partner with the business to manage efforts for implementation of new and updated accounting standards across the company, including (but not limited to) new standards for revenue recognition and leases

o Coordinate and manage the technical accounting for acquisition and divestiture projects

o Provide support for complex and non-routine accounting transactions, including prospectively supporting proposed business transactions and providing relevant advice/consultation to key decision makers

o Support finance-oriented process improvement initiatives across the company

o Support other projects and corporate-level initiatives that have a significant impact on the global finance organization

Position Requirements

Ø CPA certification

Ø 7 - 10 years’ experience in some combination of technical accounting, SEC reporting or big four public accounting

Ø Strong technical accounting and research skills

Ø Knowledge of

ASC 606 Revenue from Contracts with Customers and ASC 842 Lease

Ø Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills; ability to apply judgment and operate effectively in a decentralized, unstructured and dynamic environment

Ø Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to package and present complex information in an effective and efficient manner

Ø Able to multi-task in high pressure, time-constrained situations

Ø Strong oral and written communication skills

Ø Strong PC skills including Windows and Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint; knowledge of SAP BPC is preferred but not required


Ø MBA or Master’s degree in accounting

Ø Experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”)

Ø Project management experience preferred, including ability to coordinate cross-functional and global teams
