The IT Business Analyst will lead or participate in global division, sector and site initiatives and projects; and manage the relationship between IT and supported sites.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct requirements gathering; and document business requirement in a clear, complete, and concise manner.
Ensure that business requirements are aligned to business goals and priorities
Provide IT support for user acceptance and business process testing to ensure that requirements are met.
Proactively identify improvement opportunities and work with business customers to anticipate future needs involving changes to IT systems.
Fill the role of project manager or business analyst on projects and initiatives by conducting analysis, planning, and execution activities around technology and process changes
Identify, diagnose, and direct resolution on a wide range of IT issues, and when necessary act as a point of escalation

Proficient at creating business and technical documentation
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to probe underlying business needs
Must possess solid analytical, research, and qualitative abilities

Strong interpersonal skills are essential given that the position will have significant interaction with various functional areas and all levels of associates
Ability to work independently in a cross-functional project management environment as well as in a team environment
Ability to manage schedules and meet deadlines on multiple projects and assignments simultaneously

Ability to constructively adapt to rapidly changing priorities
Combination of operational and IT experience
Some knowledge or experience with telecom systems, network, (and/or servers preferred (Windows, LAN, VM Ware)
Experience with PDM/PLM, and/or BI systems
PMP certification or training
Experience with PDM/PLM, and/or BI systems a plus.
PMP certification or training a plus
Education and Experience:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years experience in the Information Technology field
Business Analysis experience
Experience in Project Management
Functional knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes in an ERP environment.
Knowledge of business analysis and requirements gathering methods and tools
