The role is responsible for the fulfilment of all orders from customers for our spare parts from the start of parts inquiry up to the order fulfilment.
Handle and quote spare parts RFQs received from Agents and/or End Users, updating the quotation and order log accurately and in a timely manner.
Write up and submit Sales Order Entry.
Execute and manage spare part orders in a timely manner. Reviewing the scope of supply (both technical and commercial) and make comments against this in the best interests of the company.
Make specific recommendations for future improvements based on orders where errors have occurred utilizing the non-conformance report (NCR) or global CAR as a corrective action tool.
Ensure that all parts are sourced and manufactured are strictly in accordance with Business Unit's (BU) and Flowserve global standard. Negotiate improved terms and prices before placing order with suppliers to maximize Flowserve’s profit margin.
Ensure orders are placed in a timely manner with BUs and Vendors, and suppliers are issued with Flowserve T&Cs, and back-charging liquidated damages where applicable. Work collaboratively with Purchasing Department to expedite deliveries with BUs and/or Vendors.
Ensure spare parts supplied are as per order requirement, as well as Flowserve global standard.
Attend to customer's queries/complaints and work with Quality Department to resolve warranty issues and implement corrective actions to prevent repeated occurrences.
Work with Shipping Department and Finance Department to ensure timely shipment and invoicing respectively.
Research areas where Flowserve can look at expanding its local parts manufacturing capabilities and initiatives. (In terms of growing Bookings, Sales, Gross Margin and Operating Income, as well as to improve On-Time Delivery and Cash Flow.)
Embrace and drive CIP environment in area of responsibilities and throughout the organization. Initiate and undertake continuous improvement projects (Green Belt Project and/or Kaizen Event) to improve Safety, Quality and Cost. Drive cost-reduction and improvement initiatives in the team and operations.
Perform and execute area of responsibilities in full compliance with Company’s Quality Management System, ISOQuest System, AP QRC Operating Procedures, Export Compliance and Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance.
Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering. Fresh graduates with a Bachelor’s Degree are welcome to apply.
2-3 year’s work experience in related field/industry or in similar job responsibility will be preferred.
Good communication skills. Conversant in English a must, both spoken and written.
Pro-active and can-do attitude.
Good interpersonal skills and a problem solver.
Able to handle stress, work in a fast pace environment and put in extra hours and efforts to get things done
