Position Description

Flowserve is responsible for sales, engineering, manufacturing, assembly and testing of valves to many industries.

The individual will provide customer service, cradle to grave for all parts transactions, along with partnering with our sales team for solid customer relationships and strategic plans. The individual will understand product specifications and offerings, parts requirements and answers to technical and commercial questions of price and delivery. The role will interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders, such as Engineering, Quoting Hubs, Operations, and Sales.

Position Requirements

3 or more years of Inside Sales Experience, and or comparable sales/customer facing experience in a manufacturing environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to contribute to a highly energized and motivated team for optimized results. Customer focused and driven for results in a fast paced environment; experience with developing customer relationships without face to face contact. Strong problem solving skills, along with a mechanical aptitude and strong financial acumen/skills. A self motivated individual who can embrace change, while promoting challenge and poise in times of uncertainty. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel Ability to multi task efficiently and prioritize work for maximized throughput.

Preferences

Establish and maintain close working relationships with Sales, Quoting Hubs and other functional stakeholders to promote the best interests of the company and a quality FLS proposal.

Timely preparation of high quality and proposals within limitations dictated by the customer or manager using designated workload management tools and processes.

Demonstrate a clear understanding of parts , programs, and processes to best drive solutions to our valued end user customers.

Review all incoming system quotation request and selected scope, requirements, and customer expectations to FLS standards and policies.

Manage and drive the proposal and order fulfillment, from beginning to end, inclusive of follow up and status check and feedback from customer and sales teams. Management and prioritization of daily workload to customer requirements, to maximize daily results and thru put to maximize our effectiveness to market, the hit rate/conversion rate.

Coordinate and interface with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and other functional stakeholders within the region to ensure effective collaboration and clear communication, drive development of sales strategy early in process.

Utilize designated tools and processes to support shortened cycle times and minimization of rework.

Responsible for driving CIP within the front end quote proposal generation process; leverage ideas, and participate in strategic activities, tool development along with driving individual improvements for best customer service levels.
