Position Description

Manages the field service personnel who perform on-site routine services including installation, maintenance, and repair. Oversees the scheduling and training of field service representatives. Responsibilities also includes handling service contracts and directing support services. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Position Requirements

  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience managing staff

  • Experience in manufacturing, field installation and operation of Engineered rotating machinery

  • Good understanding of QA and QC matters

  • Fluent in English language

  • Available to travel worldwide


· The person appointed will be responsible for the optimization of field service personnel utilization with particular focus on field sales personnel training and development of common processes and procedures across the assigned region/territory.

· Ensure customers’ requests are met using suitably qualified service personnel.

Ensure field reports are submitted in a timely and accurate manner.

Management of the Health, Safety and Welfare of the Field Service team.

Control of business process including but not limited to preparation of quotations, order review and acceptance (particularly payment terms for overseas jobs), order execution and fulfillment.

Create a Field Service team where we have clearly identified competencies, underpinned with training and development activities.

Maintain quality procedures to latest accreditation

The successful candidate will be someone who can demonstrate a passion for problem solving with excellent management capabilities, interpersonal and influencing skills preferably gained within a field service environment. Knowledge of the rotating equipment products, markets, and geographies is essential.
