To meet the assigned annual bookings quotas and provide accurate weekly bookings forecast to supervisor or manager.
Manage the promotion and sale of all applicable Flowserve products, spare parts, repair & services including upgrading, retrofit and other relevant end user programs through the appropriate channels, either direct or through distribution.
Work with agent / distributors and end user customers with the aim of securing orders for Flowserve products and services at the best possible price and under the best commercial terms, e.g.: establish job strategy, influence specification in Flowserve’s favor, promote Flowserve products in advance, prepare quotations, handle technical / commercial clarifications (T&C), handle warranty claims etc.
Coordinate with other internal functional departments and overseas Flowserve business units to ensure on time delivery of products and services to meet or exceed customer’s expectation and specification. This will be achieved while in compliance with all local laws, Flowserve policies and customer business guidelines.
Support project sales for OE open-box inspection at job site after delivery, submit inspection report to Business Unit, provide equipment installation support to contractor/customer, coordinate OE commission startup activity with field service team and follow up warranty services when required.
Closely interact with customers as single point of Flowserve contact and provide them with all necessary information that they may seek on time.
Monitor, motivate and guide agents / distributors to focus on selling Flowserve products.
Work with application engineers and technical service group on proposal strategy and entering clean orders to business unit.
Report job status, market trends and competitor actions to Flowserve Management as applicable.
Work to support the Project / Contractor Sales Team on new / expansion projects involving end user customers by promoting and influencing customer decision making in favor of Flowserve products and services.
Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or similar is preferable
Minimum 3 to 5 years of sales experience
Knowledge of pumps and mechanical seals and rotating equipment preferred
Fluent in English & Chinese (written and spoken)
Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
High level of commitment and self-motivation
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Willing to travel frequently (more than 75%)
This position is responsible for all End User Sales activities across China.
This Position is mainly focus on Magnetic pump business, prefer candidates could work at Chengdu or Wuhan. And will cover South-West Market.
