Senior technical sales functions, including gathering market intelligence, customer relations; technical presentations; commercial proposal preparation, compressor project tracking, follow-up, and closing sales.
Responsibility for technical seal and control system design discussion with customers, on-site seal installation supervision, maintenance training, and seal and control system trouble shooting.
Building effective Sales Strategy and create Value Propositions for compressor products and services
Analyze Business Opportunities and build and grow existing compressor business in Flowserve
Flowserve is flexible on the working location. Candidates may work from Flowserve's premises in Beijing, Shanghai or Suzhou, depending on current location and personal preference.
Work with End User & Project Sales Force providing assistance where required
Generate Request for Proposal
Work with Inside Sales and TS to develop and submit proposal
Order Acknowledgment (with AE)
Coordinate Warranty related matters
Determine provisions for Warranty coverage
Compressor seal specialist is responsible for seeing that end-users on all OEM bids are called on with presentation to ensure their support
Sales Approach to End User and Channel Partners including distribution network
Ensure product preference with all user partners
Furnish presentations on Flowserve compressor seal offering to all partners.
Project Group determines if there are any compressors on targeted project
Compressor seal specialists will then track these projects and sell compressor seals
Field Tech Service For Installations
Should have a Flowserve Rep on site at installation unless OEM or user Rep has been trained
Provide First Level of Trouble Shooting and On-Site Evaluation
Provide Compressor Seal training for Rotating Equipment Specialists
BSME or similar technical degree and/or equivalent experience with compressor seals or turbo machinery.
Minimum five years related experience, including mechanical seal sales experience, dry gas seal related experience, and/or extensive experience in dealing with rotating equipment with specific compressor experience preferred.
Technical/Sales Presentations to customers;
Demonstrated successful track record of self-initiated, sustained sales skills;
Working knowledge of Compressors and Dry Gas Seals an asset;
Strong technical experience and customer focused;
Excellent communications skills in both Chinese & English;
Ability to work in a team environment;
Strong organizational capabilities;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
