Visit customer sites, both on and offshore, to deliver installation and generalservice related tasks on OEM equipment, in line with Flowserve establishedprocesses.
Installation and commissioning of new, upgraded and repaired single and multi-stage OEMequipment.
Perform on site repairs to multi stage pumps.
Strip, inspect, report, repair and assemble pumping equipment on customer sites and in approved Flowserve workshops.
Perform condition monitoring data collections, analysis of collected data and reports ether at customer sites or at Flowserve offices.
Provide comprehensive, written, daily activity reports.
Adhere to all routine maintenance of equipment, safety and housekeeping requirements.
Comply with site and statutory health and safety requirements.
Promotes a safe working environment and follow all applicable safety regulations.
Perform work ensuring required quality and delivery to meet Flowserve and customer expectations.
Proactively identify and attend training to develop personal knowledge and skills.
Be prepared to work in a local Flowserve facility, as work demands.
Ensure ethical behaviour in line with Flowserve’s code of conduct.
Be prepared for regular travel and away from home working.

Qualified as a mechanical engineering apprentice, have good fitting andmechanical skills and be familiar with the alignment of small, single and multi-stagepumping packages.
Have knowledge of pumps, together with the ability to install/removecartridge and dual mechanical seals.
Have demonstrable experience in the use of laser alignment equipment.
Be capable of working on your own initiative with the minimum ofsupervision.
You must hold a current driving license, be prepared to travel at short notice, work hours outside of your contracted hours when the need arises and be prepared to work away from your home base, overseas and offshore, for periods of time.
You should have a good knowledge of requisite health and safety requirements and be capable of working within clients ‘permit to work’ systems.
Good English oral and written language and interpersonal skills are required as the job entails report writing and dialogue with customers and service administration.
A knowledge of and the ability to use a PC and related software packages are essential.
Experience of condition monitoring and vibration analysis.
Ability to supervise if required.
Lifting and slinging qualification would be advantageous.
Confined Space Medium Risk would be advantageous.
IOSH Managing Safely would be advantageous.
Holding UK BOSIET, MIST and other associated training certification plus a valid UK/Norwegian offshore medical is desirable.
This role is that of a Service Technician, performing a number of condition monitoring, field servicing, site repairs and maintenance activities on a wide range of pumping equipment. This is a recently signed contract, following a highly successful initial 6 month trial. The work will be carried out on customer premises, therefore we are keen to bring someone in who is personable and experienced in the condition monitoring side of things.
