Position Description:

We are currently looking for a Project Manager for our Tulsa, OK facility.

The project manager is responsible for managing systems orders to be engineered and is the contact between the plant and the customer.

The project manager should have high safety awareness and support the Flowserve safety targets.

The project manager should use the project management tools to deliver projects to customers on time and on budget to meet OTP and OI business goals.

Perform contract review and be clear on project deliverables. Issue cost adders for anything that is outside of the original scope of supply.

Maintain schedule and track costs.

Closely monitor the project status and use RAIL (action item log) to track issues and resolutions.

Manage the customer and keep them informed on the status of the order.

Expedite their deliverables to stay on schedule and escalate to management in a timely manner when issues arise. Drive the Gate Process and ensure each gate closure is properly documented.

Ensure each project is properly closed with lessons learned.

Submit monthly reporting for the larger projects for management review.

Keep plant MRP system up-to-date by maintaining the schedules.

Interface and support the other disciplines so they stay focused on the project needs.

Help to lead the Project Management team by attending Gate meetings, weekly report meetings, resolving problems, training & assisting on challenging projects.

Coach peers and give feedback to assist on their development.

Support them managing Customers when required.

Support Sales on schedule and contractual issues.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (preferably Mechanical Engineering)

CIP or PM training is a strong asset

Minimum 1- 5 years of direct project management experience

Experience managing multiples projects at once

Experience with contractual review, presentations, managing customers, and coaching.

MS Project, MS suite and MRP systems

Team player, decision maker, results oriented, good leadership skills, excellent communication skills


Experience with AS400 is preferred.

Worked in plant environment

Knowledgeable on contractual issues on orders

Knows how to plan and manage margins
