To build control panels for general purpose and hazardous area locations including but not limited to PLC Panels, Bentley Nevada Panels & Control Panels.
Inspects and checks own work, assuring all applicable safety policies, practices and regulations as well as government codes are adhered to.
Assist Level II and III Electricians in planning and lay out work from detailed schematics and electrical installation drawings, using proper tooling and equipment including volt meters and all electrical support equipment
Build Panels designed by Vernon engineering or other engineering teams to project appropriate code requirements
Experience in 24 VDC, 110VDC, 110/120 VAC, 230/240VAC to 440/480 VAC applications.
Required to assist and support all other packaging and test employees such as General Mechanics and outside vendors. Assist in test operations when called upon.
Basic operational knowledge with computers and other office equipment. Must be a team player to provide support. Must be a self-starter.
Maintains assigned equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.Keep all tools in good operating condition.
Comply with OSHA regulations as applicable.
Operates crane, power equipment and forklift as needed.
High school graduate. With at least 2 years previous experience in mechanical maintenance and electrical tech school in construction, or a demonstrated equivalent of knowledge and ability. Knowledge in installing, tearing down, making minor repairs and reassembling and adjusting such production machine tools and equipment. Familiarity with CNC troubleshooting preferred. Certification required for operating crane, power equipment and forklift as needed.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Maintain certification / license required to operate crane, power equipment and forklift.
Knowledgeable in reading electrical drawing and sketches.
Knowledge of NEC & IEC Electrical Codes
Knowledge of wiring codes and colors in construction processes.
