Role Summary:

Flowserve is looking for an experienced HR Leader to lead and deliver human resourceservices and initiatives.

The person will be located in Arnage, France and will be the HR country lead for France (2 direct reports with a scope of approx. 450 employees) and Spain (2 direct reports with a scope of approx. 550 employees).

Additionally, this position will be the HR Business Partner for Vice President for the EMA Pump Division (FPD) with

locations across EMA.

The person together with their team will be the single point of contact for end-to-end HR support for leaders within Spain and France as well as for the FPD EMA leadership team.

The incumbent will Partner with and advise assigned leaders and key stakeholders by applying HR solutions to solve business problems and advance practices in the key critical HR areas such as Business Partnership, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, Reward and Recognition and Operational Excellence.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field

  • Have 8 years human resource management experience with 2-4 years of supervisory experience

  • Have experience and strong knowledge in French employment law, labor relations and negotiations;

  • Are able to influence others effectively and display courage to ensure the best outcome for the people and the business

  • Are fluent in French and English in reading, writing, and speaking

Preferred Experiences:

  • Have a strong business acumen in order to anticipate challenges and find solutions to achieve business results through people

  • Are able to create a positive customer experience by representing the entire HR function and taking ownership of the results

  • Are able to assess and build the capability of direct reports to ensure skills necessary to deliver business results

Responsibilities & Requirements:

As the Human Resource Business Partner Leader of France, Spain and EMA Pump Division you will:

  • Contribute and have accountability of your assigned business leaders’ leadership teams to drive the success of the leaders’ entire organization by leveraging HR strategies and employing an enterprise mindset

  • Drive leaders’ ownership of talent management strategies (e.g., talent acquisition, talent development, performance management, etc.) to achieve long-term business strategy and near-term business priorities

  • Guide your team to develop and execute site-level HR policies, programs and procedures in accordance with the regional framework, local employment law, and location specific operational priorities; communicate across sites to maintain alignment of HR practices

  • Act as a consultant to your assigned business leadership teams to ensure implementation of total rewards and recognition programs

  • Guide leadership to support and link culture change with measurable business impact, including identification of high-impact behaviors at all levels of the organization

  • Practice and demonstrate a high level of technical HR knowledge, skill, and expertise

  • Deliver and execute HR programs and policies as well as provide day-to-day HR support for assigned business leadership teams
