As a German Speaker senior Cash Collector, you manage a complex collection portfolio by monitoring and collecting open invoices on customer accounts. How you do that? By building and being an excellent partner to our internal and external business partners. You are interacting with our customers primarily by phone, having transparent, friendly and professional conversations regarding unpaid bills. We expect you to be on top of the complex collection issues and discuss with the Credit & Cash supervisor. Our clients are divided in the EMEA and USA market, and that’s why this role requires a fluent English-speaker, who preferably speaks an additional (European) language, such as German. Your objective is always to find as olution to get invoices from our business-to-business (B2B) clients paid.
In addition, you:
Maintain transparent, accurate and standard collection notes;
Identify and open dispute cases and bring it to the attention of your supervisors in accordance with department guidelines;
Frequently review sales order that are put on hold;
Maintain documentation as per internal controls & SOX audit requirements;
Support the organization and your team with timely month-endclosing;
Train and mentor new and existing team members;
Participate actively in transitions, projects, initiatives to realize improvement and audits;
Being a role model for the team, and function as a backup ofthe supervisors in daily operations.

You are our ideal colleague if you…
Have three-plus years of relevant experience;
Have completed an Economics/Finance related Secondary
Studies or bachelor’s degree. Relevant experience overshadows the degree;
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in
English and German;
Have relevant Shared or Business Service Center, Order to
Cash, Accounts Receivable or Credit Management Experience;
Preferred: have proven knowledge and experience using ERP
systems (such as Oracle, SAP);
Are comfortable with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word
Are proficient in data entry and management;
You as a person
Are naturally building positive relationships;
Have strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills;
Are focused on outcomes and are able to recognize andresolve issues through root cause analysis;
Have a keen attention to detail and strong sense ofresponsibility;
Like to train and coach other team members on their work,and also to provide guidance in prioritization to your colleagues;
Have a continuous improvement mindset and are driven torealize the best results (LEAN Six Sigma is an advantage);
Have the ability to oversee a team of 2-5 members ifrequired.
