Position Description:
Flowserve is embarking on an exciting and challenging journey to transform the enterprise through the implementation of various initiatives, including the forming of a centralized but globally present operational analytics team.
A key contributor to the success of this practice will be a team of Data Analysts based in Budapest. This team will be responsible for meeting the reporting needs of the global enterprise by publishing cleansed, normalized and intelligible data, whether scheduled or on demand.
Position Requirements:
Being a valuable part of our global team means you will be able to demonstrate a strong, consistent success and capability in:
Extracting required data from ERP or other IT systems,
Ensuring a high level of accuracy of the acquired data,
Providing high quality data reporting services,
Data testing, cleaning and normalization activities,
Supporting Data Process Leads in KPI majority roadmaps,
Exclusively work with standardized design format files and mapping templates.
Managing a ticket system for data processing service requests
Completing data processing service requests within agreed lead times
This is a great opportunity to be part of a newly established team within a new global practice, working on a daily basis with colleagues in the US and Europe. There is also the likelihood of periodic European business travel as part of your role.
Preferences:
To be a successful member of the team you will have at least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably within an industrial manufacturing organization where you developed:
High familiarity with ERP and other IT systems such as Oracle, SAP, BPC, PowerBi, MS Office
Responsive approach to incoming requests
Strong work ethic and “Finish The Job” mentality
An added bonus, but not essential, would be some experience in SQL, Macros, Coding or Mapping.
You must also hold a Bachelors’ Degree in Business. A specialization as an Economic Information Specialist or Business Information Technologist would be highly desirable, but not essential.
