Manage and sustain the daily activities for the facility’s major project business portfolio going through original equipment, spare parts or the quick response center. Major projects are defined by complexity, customer, strategic value and/or dollar value. The Project Manager takes responsibility for leading key project(s) activities from time of quotation through successful customer installation in order to enable achievement of schedule adherence, successful risk mitigation, positive customer relations, accurate forecasting of revenue and cash flow, and successful completion of all contractual obligations. The candidate must work and communicate effectively with all other disciplines at all levels.
The Project Manager is responsible to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and provide:
Technical and commercial support throughout the project life cycle, from quotation through final customer acceptance and receipt of payment. This includes providing effective communication with customers to answer both technical and commercial inquiries.
Technical and commercial project document management to define document requirements, apply necessary cross functional resources, and support customer review and acceptance.
Forecasting of revenue, gross margins, and cash flow based on planned shipments to enable on-schedule milestone progress payments.
Submittal of all required documentation including timely project schedules and status reports.
Submittal of inspection and test plans including hosting customers and inspectors during on-site visits.
Assistance to the department with baseline business orders as time allows.

Technical background with BA/BS degree required, equivalent industry experience may be considered. Business Administration or Engineering is preferred.
Minimum of 5+ years’ work experience within Project/Program Management or Contract Administration preferred, with experience relating to manufactured, engineered products provided for domestic and international market applications.
Powerful self-driven work ethic, willing to work extended hours as needed.
Strong administrative, communication and facilitating skills with ability to interact with all facility personnel, customers, vendors, and inspection or governing agencies is required.
Ability to establish priorities and work to specific deadlines with minimum supervision.
Ability to work in fast paced, high-energy, goal oriented team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) required.
Must successfully complete Flowserve training courses in pump & seal fundamentals
Experience with rotating equipment is preferred.
Experience with oil, gas, water industry is preferred.
Experience with six sigma / continuous improvement processes is preferred.
Experience with manufacturing MRP/ERP business systems is preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Project is preferred.
