Our Chesapeake, VA pump manufacturing facility is seeking an associate contract administrator to assist with our Aftermarket Sales. The primary responsibilities are as follow.
Facilitates internal review of contractual agreements and supports the timely execution of contracts
Interacts daily with customers, sales, internal departments and suppliers
Reviews and interprets customer’s orders specifications and drawings
Provides technical and commercial support to customers and fellow Flowserve associates
Works effectively in ERP (Oracle, SAP) business system environments
Maintains and provides support to Flowserve business systems Informs customers of their order status in a proactive and professional manner
Successfully interacts with internal groups to solve customer issues
Supports Import/Export Compliance activities to ensure the plant’s compliance with applicable corporate and government agency rules and regulations
Performs additional related duties deemed necessary by manager
An Associates in Business or Technical Degree is preferred or 3+ years experience working in a similar manufacturing and/or industrial environment, in a similar role or function.
Familiarity or ability to learn industrial machinery (pumps, motors, valves, other rotating equipment)
PC skills and experience with Microsoft Office
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, oral and written communication skills
- Experience with an ERP system specifically Oracle
