Role Summary:

Flowserve is looking for a motivated Inspector to work with the Quality Assurance team. The primary function of this position is inspection and/or verification of items purchased or manufactured by Flowserve Corporation. The candidate will accurately use a variety of precision measuring and test equipment or be capable of learning to use these devices with minimum training. The Inspector will also interface and assist in the performance of customer inspections and audits. The successful candidate will be able to pass written and practical examinations that are a normal part of Flowserve qualification programs.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

1 - 3 years (or more) of inspection/quality assuarnce experience.

High school diploma is required; certifications and/or technical education related to quality assurance and inspection would be a plus.

Able to perform shop mathematics associated with inspection of product.

Be capable of using a computer and software associated with reporting daily inspection routines after minimal training.

Be able to read and interpret manufacturing drawings. (ANSI Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

Responsibilities & Requirements: Inspect or verify items to Flowserve Inspection Plans and/or Part Drawings.

Accurately use a variety of precision measuring and test equipment or be capable of learning to use these devices with a minimum of training.

Report in writing the results of inspections to appropriate personnel.

Perform and report inspections in a timely manner to help maintain production schedules.
