Position Description:

Applications Engineer, EPO Commercial Operations

Position Requirements:

· Master of Engineering degree

· Fluency in written and spoken English is required; additional language skills will be to the candidate's advantage

· Experience in a foreign country is preferred

· Available for Travel 15%

· Strong communication, Interpersonal and organizational skills

· Customer and service focused, flexible and open to change

· Must have good commercial awareness related to product selection and the commercial impact

· Team player

· Advanced MS Office skills


· Prepare technical and commercial proposals of Flowserve Pumps for different markets

· Support Sales team globally including attending to customer meetings for proposal clarification and commercial terms negotiation

· Interact with Flowserve departments and factories to support the quotation process

· Evaluate the risk and get proper alignment within the organisation before submitting the proposal

· Complete Engineering/Contract review of Purchase Order (PO) prior to transferring the order to the Project Execution team. Clarify with customer any unclear or inaccurate information on the PO in a prompt manner

· Ensure proposals are loaded into the system and the information is up to date

· Work with Sales and Business Developers to identify business opportunities
