Undergraduate Engineering Degree Required: electrical, mechanical, biosystems, or mixed-discipline.
8-10 years of work experience dealing with product development and/or sustainment engineering
Experienced in the creation of technical documentation such as technical training materials, procedures, design documents, test reports, etc.
Strong sense of product data management and related procedures (i.e. ECO/ECN) for ensuring a high quality and sustainable product.
Basic engineering knowledge of wireless sensors and/or protocols.
Familiar with onsite troubleshooting practices, safety processes, and environments comparable to chemical plants and petro refineries. Time spent in other industries such as agriculture, nuclear, water, etc. are applicable.
Familiarity with the classification of explosion proof or intrinsically safe devices, or the ability to demonstrate experiences showing capacity to effectively learn Ex certified products.
Basic project management knowledge and the ability to participate in planning, budgeting, and creating work breakdown structures.
Basic knowledge of business systems including ERP and PLM tools. These may include but are not limited to SAP, Oracle, and Windchill.
Product commercialization and related change management processes.
Proven experience with CAD tools.
10-20% travel - domestic and international
