The Platform Global Supply Chain Director leads Regional/Sector supply chain managers/directors within the platform. He/she is a key member of the ELT supply chain and links the platform strategies with the FLS global supply chain strategies to support the growth and the market for the platform and the enterprise. He/She is responsible for the performance of the platform supply chain (supplier OTD, cost reduction, supplier quality, etc.).

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Drive business philosophies Flowserve 2.0, perspectives, imperatives, and leadership expectations to enable company and culture transformation.
Implement standard process adherence, compliance, ethics.
Drive Operational excellence (PWC, OTD, PDB, etc.), cost containment (cost reduction, meeting the AOP planned savings, etc.) and transformation activities in the platform (ISTP).
Manage the platform operating budget for supply chain.
Approve business case study with savings/investments ROI calculations as and when required for critical projects.
Facilitate and manage the integration of the global supply chain functions with the platform.
Leadership and strategic direction of the platform SC teams to meet organization objectives.
Lead and promotes team collaboration and personal development plans.
Manage globally platform supply chain resources to address and resolve platform directions.
Manage the platform supply chain headcount.
Mentor/train the supply chain teams. Energize and empower the platform teams with adequate controls.
Cross functional collaboration:
Ensure robust and timely cross functional communication and collaboration on all key accountabilities and objectives (platform President, VP/GMs / Global Supply Chain)
Maintain close interface with other Divisional Global Directors supply chain and standardize the processes across divisions.
Sourcing strategy, procurement focus:
Provide the needs and expectations and execute the sourcing plan.
Sustain the market strategy of the platform with the collaboration with the Global supply chain organization.
Implement and execute the sourcing strategy for the platform.
Ensure that the performance of the supply chain is in line with the expectation of the business needs. Ensure that the supply chain performs in timely manner and coordinate with the Supplier Performance Category Management teams for improvements
Promote development and standardization of processes and procedures.
Jointly develop sourcing strategies in agreement with the financials performances.
Develop long-term vision and strategic plans for platform global supply chain and feed these in to the centralized global category management plans.
Input to the global sourcing roadmaps to anticipate, apply, adapt or develop strategies for product introductions, quality and performance criteria to meet current and future product or market demands, in collaboration with M&T, VP/GM, ComOps, Ops.
Responsible to Execute the Sourcing Strategy within the sites
Health and Safety: target 0 LTA among the SC platform team.
KPIs: improvements of supplier OTD, Quality, cost reduction, ultimately satisfy and exceed customer expectations.
Establish Continuous improvement of processes, compliances and regulations within the platform.

- ·Bachelor's Degree in Business (preferably ISM)or Engineering required, Master preferred. ·Supply Chain experience in Global MultinationalCompanies for 10+ years·Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills. ·Wide Cultural adaptability, Change Oriented,Stress resistant ·Ability to work in a Matrix and NetworkOrganizational Model. ·Good influencing Capability and Effectivelistening skills ·“Think Global” Mentality, “Enterprise mind-set”.·Proficient in written and verbal English;additional language a plus ·Flexibility and Mobile (Traveling 25%)
