Drive forward high value projects, acting as the key point of contact between Flowserve and our customers throughout the duration of the contract cycle.
Maintain the tracking and control of the on time delivery of major projects, whilst liaising with customers and highlighting possible areas of concern and working on solutions.
Manage several contracts simultaneously.
Travel and facilitate ‘kick-off’ meetings with customers onsite when required, maintaining a high level of customer contact through to completion of contracts.
Lead / Participate in customer and supplier related meetings as necessary.
Populate & maintain the Flowserve systems with accurate and on time information on the progression of each project assigned to them.
Ensure documentation on time delivery & backlog is visible for the given portfolio of projects.
Update & maintain progress reporting templates & client communications.
Mitigate risks, monitor project performance and engage management when significant risks are identified and encountered.
Provide daily updates on status of projects, identifying areas of risk and updating the business on progression.
Liaising with external sales and internal departments for all contract related issues.
Provide visibility & robust forecasting of billings & progress claims to management team.
Record and distribute Lessons Learned on orders to Project Team and to other Project Coordinators
A formal engineering based qualification or have an approved apprentice trained route and appropriate experience ideally qualified to degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
Experience of working in the Pump and Seal industry, or other related product knowledge (Electric Motors etc)
Knowledge of the Project Management role, preferably with a background and hands-on experience.
Experience in a customer facing role.
Experience of commercial terms & conditions.
Highly organized and process oriented.
Able to operate in a matrix environment and lead without direct authority.
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Products, MS Project with preference on SAP.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to meet both company and customer expectations on orders.
The CSOF Project Engineer will report directly to the CSOF Manager and have responsibility for the day to day running of all assigned projects to the Department.
This includes but is not limited to:
Liaison with internal and external customers to ensure that the complete contract cycle is successful ensuring specification and contractual requirements are met and maintained. He/ She will be required to ensure all internal contract management systems are populated with accurate and up to date information reflecting the scope of the contract, and the timescales necessary to achieve successful on time delivery. He/ She shall remain engaged on assigned orders from P.O. receipt to cash collection.
