Based in Thailand, this role plays an important role in the development of strategic sales plans for Thailand. This role takes a leadership role in coordinating major projects and targeted customer initiatives to internal parties such as Applications Engineer, commercial operations team and various Flowserve business units.
This role is required to travel domestically to primarily cover EPC contractors and major customers in Thailand and will be the primary contact person for all aspects of sales, technical consultation, product support, and any other customer related matters.
Preferred Experience / Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the pump sales or pump application engineering in oil & gas, power plants or offshore ship building related businesses.
Fluent in both spoken and written English.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Positive mindset with can-do attitude.
Able to interact with people of all levels in an organization.
Able to work independently and self-initiated. Willing to travel for business within short notice.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Sales and promotion of Flowserve pumps products and services through implementing strategies, programs and plans as defined by Management.
Drive to meet and/or exceed sales booking plan.
Communicate with Flowserve business units and overseas sales offices in all aspects of sales activities.
Provide sales opportunities status and market intelligence feedback to Management.
Provide training and coaching to less experienced sales engineers.
Provide technical and product support to EPC customers and end user customers.
Work with application engineers and commercial operations team to establish sales strategies for sales proposals and to prepare clean order entries to business units.
Oversee, motivate and provide guidance to agents and/or distributor on selling Flowserve pumps products and services.
Work with agents and/or distributors and end user customers to influence jobs and secure sales orders.
Work closely with agents, end user customers and Flowserve business unit to resolve sales order related matters.
