This position is part of the team responsible for planning capacity and order management, for all After Market Units and Rotor opportunities from order hand off through manufacturing release. The role will also include an opportunity for the candidate to take direct responsibility for the successful execution of Category1 jobs within the team from order hand off through manufacturing release.
Support the management of capacity for all After Market Units and rotor orders across the AMSS network: PMC’s QRC’s and vendors.
Complete buy / make decisions of parts based on overall capacity and capability.
Includes the vetting of all item setup on make items (drawings, material codes, specifications, etc).
Take the lead for successful execution of Category 1 jobs from order hand off through manufacturing release.
Load bill of materials into PMC organization, includes parent/child relationships and determination of standardized machining routings.
Confirm all required information is provided to the PMC for successfully execution of orders.
Release all related supply orders to the appropriate departments with meaningful need dates: work orders to the PMCs, purchase requisitions to the Buyers and intercompany requisitions to move material between facilities.
Act as the primary point of contact for the PMC’s on all order support.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree with 3 - 5 years (or more) experience in Planning or combination of equivalent relevant work experience and education.
Experience in supply chain, operations, purchasing, planning, materials management.
Customer service and/or product management experience is a plus.
Experience working with ERP/MRP systems in manufacturing environment (Oracle a plus).
Prior experience related to interpreting industry standards, technical drawings, and manufacturing procedures.
Possess the ability to project a positive attitude in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
Clear and positive verbal and written communication skills with ability to work well across all levels of the organization.
Good organizational skills, able to establish priorities and complete a high volume of work to specific deadlines.
Must be able to resolve conflict and deal diplomatically with vendors, managers and sales.
