The HRM develops and executes the local site HR strategy and oversees its implementation at Flowserve’s Raleigh NC valves manufacturing operation. Provides expert HR consulting and leadership to both management and employees. Responsible for delivery and execution of strategy, programs and policies.
The position will be located in Raleigh, NC and report to the Director HR for our Flow Control Operations.
Full Generalist duties - operational to strategic HR
Strategic business HR partner to Plant Manager and key staff members driving operational success
Build the team and environment to win (e.g. Drive Ops Excellence, Global growth; speed in NPD, HR and elsewhere)
Champion for change, 2.0 values and culture, safety and fulfillment of Flowserve Core values throughout sites
Coaching and development for select site HR Representatives
Drive business philosophies, perspectives, and imperatives to enable company and culture transformation.
Lead in concert with Flowserve 2.0 leadership expectations.
Uphold uncompromising safety & quality expectations.
Administer HR programs and processes efficiently and effectively including but not limited to all staffing, total rewards, communications, professional development
Contribute to a culture of ‘people-first’ and of ‘continuous improvement’ throughout Raleigh
HR Program Development and Execution
Ownership of local programs and solutions which drive successful business performance
Partnership with enterprise HR community and COEs in design of HR solutions and improvements which positively impact the business
- Serve as strategic OD partner to site and business leaders, aiding as the SME in Organizational Design; Workforce Planning; Change Management, Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness.
Drive talent excellence by attracting, motivating, aligning, and retaining the talent required to be the market leader.
Employ an enterprise mindset to developing & exporting talent.
Lead an engaged, committed workforce & hold site management accountable to do the same.

10+ years experience in HR
Upwardly promotable and geographically mobile
Relevant experiences in:
Developing and applying local HR plans as a Human Resources professional (generalist)
Compensation; Staffing and Selection; Labor Relations; Change Management; OD and /or Talent Management
Manufacturing, Engineering, Consumer Products or related business environment
Professional certificates which may be useful include, SHRM; Coaching; CI; Lean/Six Sigma and/or Talent arenas
- Masters Degree in business or related field (strongly preferred)
