The Flowserve facility in Raleigh, NC is responsible for the manufacturing of a wide range of valves for a variety of industries, including the nuclear industry. This facility has 175,000 square feet of manufacturing and inventory space.
Analyze data and create tools to facilitate the creation of a master production schedule and accurate quoted lead times.
Create tools for transparent communication and alignment between planning and production
Oversee updates to Master Data consistent with Inventory Policy and plant strategy
Self-Identify gaps in current ERP utilization processes and address ways to close those gaps, within planning and cross functionally
Focused factory functional boundaries for order and projects running across all focused factories will be properly coordinated.
The Master Scheduler will also assist with critical constraint planning.
BA/BS degree required with technical or sciences background.
Minimum of 5 years of project or planning experience is required.
Experience with MRP/ERP Business Systems, MS Excel or Microsoft access and MS Project or similar project tracking software is required.
Proven data analysis capabilities, including the ability to translate analysis into actions.
Strong administration, communication, and facilitation skills required to interact with all facility personnel.
Ability to multi-task and work with little direction is required in order be able to demonstrate the high level of initiative that will be required to track, monitor and adhere to planned work schedules.
Must be comfortable making decisions autonomously and working with ambiguity.
This role is not a typical Master Scheduler role, but is building the tools and business practices to create a "typical" Master Scheduler role.
CPIM certification is a plus.
Experience with international customers is preferred.
Cross-functional knowledge of the manufacturing processes is preferred.
Familiarity with valves and/or engineered products for commercial nuclear industry applications would be a plus.
