As an NDE Technician you will be setting up, calibrating, and utilizing applicable NDT equipment and be responsible for NDT operations in which qualified, assigned, and should be capable of performing examinations in terms of existing codes, standards, and specifications. Additionally, you will have sufficient practical background in applicable materials, fabrication, and product technology to choose applicable techniques and ensure to strict adherence to industrial safety and health guidelines and the internal radiation safety program. You will prepare NDT reports and other work documents in a timely and accurate manner, understand and utilize safe work practices and verify Shop Route Cards to the appropriate Quality Plan requirements taking into consideration shop processes. Also, you will have the ability to read and interpret part and casting drawings and transport parts and material via fork trucks and cranes, as required. Apply today to be part of our dynamic team!
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Minimum of a High School Diploma.
Certifications may substitute for education and / or experience.
Must be ASNT TC-1A Level II Certified in PT. Additional Level II certifications considered a plus.
Must be willing to achieve NDT Level II in at least one additional method (MT, RT).
Must be willing to work towards ISO 9712 certifications in applicable disciplines (PT, MT, RT).
Ability to read and follow written instructions, analyze and interpret drawings, technical specifications, etc.
Individual must be extremely detail oriented. Ability to communicate both verbally and written, in a clear, concise manner.
Microsoft Office Suite experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Preferred Experience / Skills: Candidates MUST show proof of certifications or training in order to be considered for position.
Multiple Level II certifications preferred in addition to PT (RT preferred).
