Role Summary:

Complete production schedule and assigning resources to accomplishing the Company targets establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.

Maintain the work flow monitoring all the steps of the process, setting processing variables observing control points and equipment, monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods implementing cost reductions, developing reporting procedures and systems facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.

Identify and implement system and process improvements within the supply chain to enable overall business process improvement.

Analyze inventory levels and product demands to determine reorder levels and safety stocks that will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs.

Proactively review material supply and demand to determine push/pull actions appropriate to impact manufacturing MPS and supply MRP exception messages.

Coordinate and plan materials requirements for new product introductions, including review of new BOM’s and cut-in dates for build verification and production units

Review material shortages, stock outages, and safety stock levels while working with Suppliers, Purchasing and Manufacturing to meet customer requirements. Propose changes when needed.

Assist in the resolution of MRP and planning discrepancies.

Responsibilities & Requirements: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial, or Mechatronics.

Experience with Purchasing/Materials Tools (MRP, Inventory Analysis, Supplier Development ,etc).

Be able to work with others while effectively handling internal pressures.

Excellent Communication Skills (written and verbal).

Excellent Leadership in Working as a Team.

Organizational and problem solving skills required.

Minimum of 5-10 years of Production Control, Supply Chain & Master Scheduling experience.

Experience in analysis of bills of materials to optimize the resources of the company.

Experience with Product Development and understanding of product cycle time.

APICS CPIM Certification.

Language Skills: English.

Preferred Experience / Skills: Minimum of 5-10 years of Production Control, Supply Chain & Master Scheduling experience.
