Accounting Supervisor as a part of the Finance Team will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial records. Maintain and improve the infrastructure of the accounting department, including the oversight of internal controls and a comprehensive balance sheet review to support the integrity of the finance data. A ssist General Accounting Manager in completion of special projects. Actively collaborate with Finance Business Partner, Costs Accounting Supervisor and Management Team.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of all accounting records ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
Supervisory and Leadership in the following: General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable,
Fixed Assets, Intercompany and Taxes.
- Assist in the supervision of the daily financial operations
of the company.
Coordinate the month end closing process.
reports, reconciliations and variances.
- Meets accounting financial
standards by monitoring expenditures, identifying variances and implementing
- Takes a leadership
role in the department's development of new accounting standards and monitor
- Ensure that all
SOX controls are being applied accordingly.
interacting with internal customers to develop, understand and manage customer
requirements and expectations.
- Work with each direct
report to establish goals, monitor and advise on the progress to enhance the
professional development of staff including annual reviews.
Preferred Experience / Skills: Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree
in Finance or Accounting.
- 4+ years as
Accounting Supervisor and prior leadership experience.
- Able to
effectively communicate, interact, engage and carry influence on finance team.
- Able to multi-task
in high pressure, time-constrained situations, as well as influence when and
- Extremely high
attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to package and present
information in an effective and efficient manner.
- Prior experience
with Global and GAAP accounting strongly preferred.
- Excellent problem
solving and critical thinking skills; ability to apply judgement and operate
effectively in a decentralized, unstructured and dynamic environment
- Knowledge of BPC,
Hyperion / SAP, PRMS, AS400 or another ERP software preferred.
- High knowledge of
English language and Microsoft tools mainly Excel
