Position Requirements:

  1. Be a focal point for external customers and sales force on quotations and enquiries on the service & repair activities for Valves.

  2. Review repair contracts

  3. Prepare work scope for all repairs

  4. Prepare Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)

  5. Review technical aspects of requests for quotation

  6. Perform design calculations and analyses

  7. Plan, organise and ensure that the Field Service Team conduct all the on-site Service & Repair activities on a timely and efficient manner.

  8. Ensure accurate and timely submission of the repair Bookings, Warranty and Service Sales reports. Other reports eg. inventory listings, backlog report, etc, will varies based on KPIs.

  9. Support the execution and fulfilment of the repair jobs, as well as working closely with the manufacturing to facilitate smooth planning.

  10. Ensure and maintain good tracking system for all repair orders

  11. Manage Shutdown as Project manager, interfacing between customer & ops department for project progress status updates & special request.

  12. Work with internal tools, sizing software to support aftermarket issues.

  13. Work with inter-company for the service and warranty related matters.

  14. Experience in handling customer’s terms and conditions.


  1. Degree in Engineering (preferably) or Business Studies (2-4 years experience in manufacturing industry (Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Petroleum)

  2. Minimum 2-3 years experience in handling Customer Service (preferred)

  3. Knowledge of various kind of Control Valves and sizing will be an added advantage.

  4. Provide competitive solutions, commercial quotations, generate part lists and technical support

  5. Good interpersonal and communication, negotiation, analytical, presentation skills

  6. Ability to interact with all level of employees

  7. Problem solving skills

Position Description:

This position provide an enhanced technical interface and assistance between the customer and the Sales team.

This position also supports the service & repair of the range of company’s products where the ability to give technical advice to internal and external customers on the company’s products is essential.
