This position is responsible for Control Valve and On/Off Valve sales activities in Singapore.
To achieve annual sales target for Singapore.
As well as carrying out various task, projects and assignments as requested by Management.
To work closely with our reps/distributors to ensure we achieve the annual sales target for Singapore. Flowserve Sales Engineer, Specialist also additionally required to direct sales to End Users.
To ensure that our reps/distributors sales training needs are met including product knowledge and selling skills
Critically assess the market, evaluate current market conditions and identify competitive positioning of our products and services
Monitor market and competition activity providing feedback on any change to trends with proposals for required FLS strategy changes
Provide accurate monthly order booking forecast and keep management informed of any deviations
To be involved in conducting product seminars focusing on our key products and consideration of industries in Singapore.
Submit weekly sales forecast reports in a detailed and timely manner
Work with the manufacturing operations to ensure that the organisation is responsive to customer and market service demands.
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering with minimum 2-5 years of relevant working experience preferably in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Chemical industry.
Fresh graduates but with strong sales flair and aptitude will also be considered.
Have relevant experience and knowledge in Control Valve and On/Off Valve sales.
Must have a valid driving license and own a car
Able to work independently under pressure with minimal supervision
High level of commitment and self-motivation
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Frequent customer visits to Singapore End Users required.
Percentage of Approximate Travel Required: 70%
