Position Description:

Position Summary

This is an entry-level position in the Assembly Department. The employee will build and test automatic control valves and their components to customer specifications. Requirement of supplying his/her own tools to perform daily task (basic pneumatic tools supplied by Flowserve FCD).

Position Requirements:

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalent, and/or combination of training and education, mechanical abilities required

Must have mechanical aptitude with the ability to follow step by step instructions.

Must be able to work Monday thru Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and overtime hours as required, which may include evenings and weekends.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and

maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using

in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems

involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Ability to read wiring and tubing schematics, dimensional drawings. Able to use pneumatic and hydraulic tools and presses.
